I remember his little crunched up face
Filled with big round teardrops
And wrinkles that won't set in place
For five or six decades
Pleads for me
To recognise his problems
Just a fleeting, childhood sadness
Kissed away in a moment
He will grow so fast
Soon he'll be tall enough
To go on the rides alone
At that great height
Kisses are humbled
But my love for him still grows
